Job summary

Celebree School of The Woodlands Creekside is seeking a full-time lead teacher to create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and support children through important milestones. Build a welcoming, safe classroom and communicate progress with families using Tadpoles.

Must be English-speaking with at least two years of lead teacher experience; CPR/First Aid certification is required. CDA or Early Childhood certification is preferred. Reports to the School Director.

Qualifications

• English speaking is a must.
• Minimum of two years' experience as lead teacher.
• Effective communication skills verbal and written.
• CD A or Early Childhood certifications preferred.

• Share updates with families about their child’s day, growth, and progress using Tadpoles.

Job Responsibilities

• Create fun, age-appropriate lessons that spark learning, curiosity, and exploration using the resources provided.
• Support children through key milestones, including potty training.
• Build a warm, safe, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
• Use stories, songs, and language-rich activities to grow communication skills.
• Maintain a safe classroom that meets all licensing standards.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming with the team.
• Share updates with families about their child’s day, growth, and progress using Tadpoles.

Requirements

• English speaking is a must. Minimum of two years' experience as lead teacher. Minimum 21 years of age.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, loving and with passion to work with kids.
• Effective communication skills verbal and written.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Ability and flexibility in working with various age groups.
• CDA or Early Childhood certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.

Physical Demands

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching, lifting, and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
