Job summary

Celebree School of Alexandria is seeking a Twos Teacher to guide infants and toddlers through early development in a nurturing, structured environment, delivering age-appropriate activities that reflect Celebree’s curriculum and values.

You’ll mentor classroom aides, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with families while enjoying a weekday schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills; patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day’s activities with infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they take first steps.
• Manage the Twos classroom ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Provide a welcoming, friendly environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
• Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and inviting to foster curiosity.
• Accurately complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.
