Job summary

Tutor Time Childcare is hiring a Lead Teacher in California to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers. You will promote children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth while ensuring adherence to licensing guidelines and center standards.

You will also communicate with families to support student achievement and center success, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children, promoting their social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support the center’s success.
