Job summary

Arkids Pediatric Day Centers seeks a Lead Teacher/ECDS to assume responsibility for a classroom, supervise technicians, and ensure all required documentation, including ITPs, are timely and accurate. The role may extend as ECDS for other classrooms and supports development across cognitive, communication, social/emotional, motor, and adaptive domains.

Essential duties include maintaining supervision ratios, reviewing lesson plans, and ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• BSE in Early Childhood Education or bachelor’s degree with required certification or equivalent
• Five years experience preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Clear Criminal Record Check and regulatory checks required
• Drug screen required on hire and periodically as needed

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Arkids policies and procedures and maintain required documentation
• Supervise Classroom Technicians and helpers in the classroom
• Ensure Individualized Treatment Plans are implemented and goals/objectives developed
• Promote health, safety and developmental activities for patients
• Communicate with parents/guardians and staff to support patient progress
