Job summary

The Lead Teacher/ECDS role at Arkids Pediatric Day Centers will oversee the classroom, supervise Classroom Technicians, and ensure accurate documentation of the Individualized Treatment Plan. They may serve as ECDS for other classrooms and support habilitation across cognition, communication, social-emotional, motor, and adaptive skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with required state certification.
• Clear Criminal Record Check and regulatory background checks.
• Five (5) years of experience in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Arkids Pediatric Day Centers policies and procedures.
• Maintain appropriate adult-to-child ratios and supervise Classroom Technicians.
• Ensure Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) implementation and annual documentation.
• Review lesson plans with Classroom Techs and ensure timely data entry.
• Provide guidance in classroom planning and activities; ensure sign-in/out procedures.
