Job summary

Arkids Pediatric Day Centers in Osceola, AR is seeking a Lead Teacher/ECDS responsible for the classroom, supervising technicians, and acting as Early Childhood Developmental Specialist to support cognitive, communication, social-emotional, motor and adaptive skills.

The role requires adherence to policies, documentation like ITP, coordination with staff, adherence to safety guidelines, and collaboration with families to promote development. Experience and qualifications are per listed minimums.

Qualifications

• BSE in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor's degree with one of: Arkansas ECE certification, birth-to-preK credential, or equivalent experience with special needs.
• Clear background checks including Arkansas DPSQA and FBI checks.
• 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• May be required to complete New Director Orientation.
• Drug screening as a condition of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Classroom Technicians and oversee the classroom operations.
• Ensure ITPs are implemented and goals/objectives are developed.
• Maintain safety and health guidelines and active supervision of patients at all times.
• Coordinate lesson planning, sign-in/out, and documentation like Tally Sheets and billing.
• Engage patients in gross and fine motor activities and outdoor play daily.
