KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to lead, coach, and mentor staff while delivering the KinderCare curriculum to meet the needs of each child. You will foster a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning and connect with parents to support the child’s development.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and the ability to multi-task. A CDA credential or state qualifications are preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification beneficial.

Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom.
• Implement curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support child care and education.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities, and partners.
