Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, mentor peers, and implement our curriculum to meet each child’s needs. You will create a safe, engaging environment and partner with parents to ensure exceptional care and education across our centers.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse families. A CDA credential or progress toward one is preferred, with opportunities for growth within KinderCare Learning

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or pursuit of NAEYC candidacy is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement KinderCare curriculum per child needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to foster best outcomes for children.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, authorities, and partners.
