Job summary

KinderCare in Plymouth, MA is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms with warmth and professionalism. You will implement the center's curriculum, mentor less experienced teachers, and partner with families to support each child's growth.

The role requires a CDA credential or higher, a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, and current CPR/First Aid. You will collaborate with center staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals while ensuring a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates outstanding customer service and organization while handling multiple situations.
• Has a CDA Credential or is pursuing NAEYC candidacy.
• Preferred: state trainer certification.
• 2--3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meets state qualifications or is willing to obtain them.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and engaging with children.
• Able to communicate in English with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your centerf s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
