Job summary

The Children’s Courtyard in Texas is hiring a Team Lead at our child care center. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care, lead classroom management, and implement the curriculum.

You will communicate with families to support child achievement, mentor new staff, and be prepared to assume Director/Assistant Director duties in the absence. A positive, energetic, and reliable approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility
• Leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA (preferred)
• The ability to meet state/accreditation education and experience requirements
• Able to work indoors or outdoors with children

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement
• Assist with mentoring new hires and fellow teachers
• Take on Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening/closing
