Job summary

Lionheart Children's Academy is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to model developmentally appropriate, Christ-centered programs for children. You will mentor new teachers, oversee onboarding, and verify skills within your age group, fostering excellence and spiritual growth.

You will lead classroom management, curriculum implementation, and a collaborative team culture while modeling strong communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Meets state minimum standards; CDA/AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Spiritual leadership aligned with Lionheart’s mission and values.
• Criminal background check required.
• Clear communication with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Teacher orientation and ongoing leadership development.
• Assist with onboarding and mentorship of new teachers within the age group.
• Model best practices in classroom management, curriculum, and spiritual integration.
• Support positive team culture and collaboration.
