About The Gardner School

Responsibilities

• Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop-off and pick-up times.
• Ensure the safety of each child.
• Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum, and software.
• Read, understand, and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and State Licensing Agencies.
• Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and coworkers.
• Advise the Director or Assistant Director of supplies needed for upcoming months.
• Follow standards for staff conduct and responsibilities when in contact with children.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Associates Degree or CDA required; BS or BA in Elementary or Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with children.
• Loving, nurturing personality and passion for working with children.
• Excellent communication skills with parents, staff, and children.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Pediatric first aid and CPR certification.
