The Infant/Toddler Teacher is responsible for the care, supervision, and management of a class of Infants and Toddlers following the goals and curriculum plan. The principal duties include conducting focused observations of children, developing action plans, carrying out activities daily, evaluating the effectiveness of child development activities, ensuring safety and well-being, maintaining communication with parents, and contributing to the effective operation of the center. Lead teachers serve as ambassadors for the school and the agency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or child development from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of an Infant Toddler Gateways Credential Level 5.
• At least one year of teaching experience.
• Experience supervising and leading classroom teams in lesson plan implementation across all developmental areas.
• Knowledge of childcare routines, hygiene, and child development principles.
• Ability to observe, document, and report on child's health and behaviors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with peers, parents, and community partners.
• Experience with administrative record keeping and evaluation of childcare services.
• Knowledge of Early Head Start principles.
• Proficiency in computer software and databases.

Salary: $50,000/year.

This is a full-time exempt position with a $2,500 Sign-on Bonus!
