Join Our Team as a Lead Teacher

We are seeking a Lead Teacher for our 2s classroom at The Learning Experience. If you have 90 credits in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, apply now and become part of our passionate team of Early Childhood Educators.

Pay: $25 - $32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-Time)

Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
  2. Manage the classroom to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  3. Serve as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
  4. Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children, tailored to each child's needs.
  5. Create a safe and nurturing environment for play and learning.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s progress through various channels, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  7. Support the center’s success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
  8. Build strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning environment.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of six months of professional teaching experience; one year preferred.
  2. NYC Teaching Certification for Birth to 2 years (preferred).
  3. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or an Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field; study plan for obtaining early childcare certification is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  5. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  6. Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
