The Gardner School is a state-of-the-art educational program for young children and their families. We have a supportive environment for staff with competitive pay and benefits. Ideal candidates will have some college education and some experience with young children.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop-off and pick-up times daily.
  • Ensure the safety of each child.
  • Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum, and software.
  • Read, understand, and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and coworkers.
  • Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.
  • Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Associates Degree or CDA a must (BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of previous experience working with children
  • Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, including personal face-to-face communications with parents, staff, and children.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Pediatric first aid and CPR certification.
