Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• Master of Tax preferred
• Active CPA license is required
• Minimum of 7+ years of public accounting experience with focus on Trust & Estate
• Proficient in individual, Trust & Estate and partnership taxation and tax planning
• Experience supervising and training staff and seniors preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex tax returns and conducts tax research, especially in Trust and Estate
• Responds to tax notices from authorities
• Reviews client-provided tax information and consults with clients on complex tax questions
• Identifies and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations
