GHD North America is seeking a Lead - Transmission & Distribution (T&D) to establish a grid capability that enables Clean Power growth across interconnections and grid modernization programs. You will focus on substation and line design, power system planning and studies while closely connecting with BESS, Wind and Hydro pursuits.

Hybrid work model in a Dallas-area role with travel as needed, leading a high-performing team and delivering QA‑driven design packages for North American

Competenze

• 12-15+ years in T&D including HV substation/line design and grid studies; experience integrating inverter-based resources/BESS highly desirable.
• Proven framework and program management with utilities/transmission companies; strong client communication and mentoring track-record.

Mansioni

• Lead T&D pursuits and delivery; enable hybrid interconnections; embed safety, quality and commercial rigor across teams; travel as needed.
• Stand up a scalable T&D offering emphasizing owner's engineer, studies/FEED and detailed design for renewable interconnections and grid-modernisation.
• Develop standardized design packages and workflows delivered via Global Collaboration Centres.
• Lead primary and secondary substation design; define specifications, scopes, calculations and reports; manage QA of design deliverables.
• Build distribution design capability for overhead and underground networks; deliver concept/detailed designs and cost estimates.
