Job summary

Vector Security in Columbus, OH is seeking a Lead Systems Technician to service and install commercial integrated systems, including burglar alarms, access control, video, and fire solutions.

You will train and mentor technicians, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable security solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
• 5+ years industry experience - Preferred.
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
• Fire Alarm License - Preferred.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - Preferred.
• NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - Preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Install/service integrated systems: Complete installation and/or servicing of various types of integrated systems, including integrated burg, card access, video, and fire alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot integrated systems in high-end residential and commercial applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by branch.
• Employ logic and experience to work through system and integrated system issues.
• Assist in design and deployment of projects in concert with local and state building codes and communicate effectively with AHJs.
• Interact and communicate at all levels of the organization and with external customers.

Summary:

As a Lead Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the Servicing and/or Installation of commercial integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video Solutions. Additional responsibilities include a strong technical aptitude , ability to decipher/design integrated systems in co mpliance with local jurisdiction requirements , and effective interpersonal skills .

Responsibilities:

Install/service integrated systems:

Train and mentor technicians:

• Review work of Entry Level through Level 2 technicians on shared job site and provide training to correct any errors.
• Responsible for the work done by all technicians on his/her jobs.

• Certification/License:
