Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY seeks a Lead, Systems Engineering to lead integration and test of EO/IR systems for airborne and ground surveillance. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams: engineering, manufacturing, and program management to design, develop, and build high-performance systems.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience (or 13 years without a degree). MBSE, DOORS, Jama, Cameo, and C/C++/Python experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop system integration concepts & test plan approach.
• Ensure system requirements are met and evaluate performance measures.
• Perform system and subsystem integration, risk assessment, planning, verification, and validation.
• Design, develop, and release custom test equipment (HW and SW).
• Coordinate with Operations for production STE/ATE requirements, automation, and UI.
• Develop custom test equipment procedures and instructions.
• Manage upgrades to STE for obsolescence/enhancements.
• Maintain library of preferred test equipment/components and standards.
• Design Qualification program: plans, procedures, and test equipment.
