Job summary

L3Harris is seeking Systems Integration & Test engineers in Rochester NY to work on a dynamic team to develop EO/IR solutions. They will have SI&T Engineering responsibilities consisting of the development, integration & test of electro‑optical systems for airborne and ground surveillance. The candidate will work closely with cross‑functional members of engineering, manufacturing, & program management to design, develop & build high performance systems.

Essential Functions

• Develop system integration concepts & test plan approach
• Ensure system requirements are met and evaluate performance measures
• Perform system and subsystem integration, technical risk assessment, technical planning, verification and validation, and supportability analyses
• Design, develop, and release custom test equipment (HW and SW)
• Coordinate with Operations for production STE/ATE requirements, automation, and user interface
• Develop custom test equipment procedures and instructions
• Manage upgrades to STE for obsolescence / enhancements
• Maintain library of preferred test equipment / components and common architecture standards
• Design Qualification program: plans, procedures, and test equipment
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Qualifications

Benefits and Compensation

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role New York state is $110,500 - $205,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
