Job summary

Akina, Inc. in Annapolis Junction, Maryland seeks a Systems Engineer to analyze user requirements, concept of operations, and high level architectures to develop system requirements specifications and lead design activities.

You will guide feasibility studies, provide technical leadership for requirements integration, and coordinate with Government personnel to ensure DoDAF/SOA compatibility. This role requires TS/SCI - Polygraph, offers 24 days PTO, 11 federal holidays, 10% 401(k) company

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline required.
Five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
Develops system architecture and system design documentation.
Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment and test plans.
Interacts with Government regarding Systems Engineering considerations and issues.
