Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to provide coordinated THAAD systems engineering and interoperability support for international partners and DoD programs. The role supports THAAD and related missile defense efforts under TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contracts.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in engineering with 10+ years of experience, an active Secret clearance, and the ability to work with government and contractor teams across borders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of related professional experience.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems and interoperability engineering, analysis, and guidance regarding THAAD with international partners.
• Assist Engineering Lead with managing technical aspects of force design work.
• Attend data link conferences and coordinate on TDLA architecture.
• Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders on force design efforts.
• Identify deficiencies and propose fixes; document findings for senior decision makers.
• Participate in force design meetings and technical exchanges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
