Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a systems engineering leader to head a multi-disciplinary team for a major program. You will develop and flow down requirements, architect complex systems, and build an MBSE model of the system and interfaces, while planning verification and validation and defining risk mitigation strategies.

The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work on-site in Lexington, MA.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred or MS with 5 years relevant space/airborne SE experience.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and communicate clearly.
• Experience supporting full SE activities for multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team performing systems engineering for a large program.
• Develop and flow down requirements, architect systems, and model interfaces.
• Plan/lead verification and validation, identify risks, and define mitigations.
