Job summary
MIT Lincoln Laboratory's Group 94, Electronics for Contested Space, seeks an aerospace/astronautical or systems analysis engineer to lead concept development, mission analysis, and prototyping of resilient space systems. This role spans from pre-concept ideas to mature, mission-critical systems.
You will contribute to multi-disciplinary teams and perform systems engineering, trade studies, and modeling with occasional travel.
Qualifications
- PhD or MS with substantial experience in aerospace/astronautical engineering or related field.
- Experience in systems engineering, space systems, mission analysis, modelling/simulation, remote sensing, or hardware testing.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead concept development, mission analysis, and prototyping of resilient space systems.
- Perform systems engineering, trade studies, and coordination with sponsors and partners.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and travel for field exercises and briefings.
