Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory's Systems Engineering Group seeks an experienced leader to head a team performing systems engineering for a large program. You will develop requirements, architect systems, create MBSE models, and drive verification and validation activities while identifying risks and mitigation strategies.

You will collaborate across disciplines and programs, ensuring on-time delivery and technical excellence in a demanding mission-focused environment in Lexington, MA.

Qualifications

• MS in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aero/Astro, or Software Engineering with systems engineering for space or airborne systems preferred, or in lieu of an MS, a BS degree and 5 years of relevant experience
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Lexington, MA up to 5 days per week as necessary
• Ability to travel approximately once per quarter as necessary

Responsibilities

• Lead a team performing systems engineering activities for a large program
• Develop, flow down and track requirements and architect systems
• Develop an MBSE model of the systems and their interfaces
• Plan and lead verification and validation activities and identify risks with mitigation strategies
