Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead and integrate system-level activities for the Space Launch System (SLS). The role interfaces with the Exploration Ground Systems program and other stakeholders, owning interface control documents and coordinating across propulsion, structures, avionics, and flight software disciplines.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, and architecture definition.
• Experience working across organizations and disciplines to resolve integration issues.
• Proficient in MS Office and customer communication.
• Working knowledge of digital engineering tools (DNG; MagicDraw; Power VI).

Responsibilities

• Provide system functional design and integration support for the SLS program.
• Control the integrated system architecture through design documents and deliverables.
• Perform technical integration across NASA Centers and multiple engineering disciplines.
• Develop digital engineering tools to manage baselines, traces, and verification tracking.
• Lead or support key system engineering products for program milestones and reviews.
• Provide leadership in SLS and EV organization verification planning and issue resolution.
