Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Manager 3 – Systems Engineering, Performance, Integration and Test IPTL to lead the SiAW missile program. The role demands MBSE-driven architecture, rigorous requirements management, and cross-team leadership to ensure on-time delivery within budget.

The selected candidate will lead multi-disciplinary teams, collaborate with government customers and platform integrators, and maintain technical maturity across subsystems. An active clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or higher with several years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods and tools (e.g., SysML) for system requirements and architecture.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on DoD or government programs.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure engineering rigor across activities per PrOP and quality standards.
• Oversee requirements, architecture, digital engineering products and test planning.
• Manage system architecture using MBSE and object-oriented methods.
• Review and approve system/subsystem design artifacts and test results for correctness.
• Coordinate vertical and horizontal technical integration across product teams.
• Develop key design criteria and technical performance measures.
• Support PMO with status on maturity, risks, and integration challenges.
• Plan early integration with government customers, platform integrators, and suppliers.
• Plan and execute technical reviews (CDR, TRR, SVR, FCA/PCA).
• Ensure milestones align with program schedule and budget.
