Job summary

Avalore is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee all systems engineering and design activities for the WDP System. You will translate customer needs into robust architectures, prepare and execute the SEP, and coordinate across engineering teams to meet program milestones.

You will lead technical reviews, establish standards, mentor junior engineers, and represent the engineering group on the ECB. Strong communication and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• SECRET security clearance is required.
• Multiple levels with Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: Junior 0-3, Journeyman 4-7, Senior 8+ years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all systems engineering and design activities for the WDP System.
• Prepare, maintain, and execute the System Engineering Plan (SEP).
• Coordinate between engineering teams and translate requirements into designs.
• Represent the engineering team on the ECB to support milestones.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
