Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL seeks a Lead Systems Engineer (LdSE) to drive technical excellence and mission success. You will lead cross-functional engineering activities, coordinate with Chiefs Engineers and program managers, and guide MBSE and Digital Engineering transformation efforts across proposals and program execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field.
Experience leading DoD tactical system development programs and customer interface.
Final Secret Clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

Manage technical response for new proposals and conduct independent technical reviews.
Ensure the system aligns with strategic goals of the program.
Lead cross-functional engineering activities, including trade studies, system analyses, configuration control, verification planning and execution, affordability considerations, and risk and opportunity management.
Collaborate with customers, integrate and test planning and execution, and participate in major design reviews.
Work with program management and chief engineer to mitigate risk and execute programs on cost and on schedule.
