Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer in Rochester, NY, to lead SI&T activities for EO/IR systems. You will integrate, test, and validate airborne and ground surveillance equipment, working closely with engineering, manufacturing and program management to deliver high-performance solutions.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s with 9+ years (or a Graduate degree with 7+ years). Preferred MBSE, DOORS/Jama/Cameo, and programming skills (C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop system integration concepts & test plan approach.
• Ensure system requirements are met and evaluate performance measures.
• Perform system and subsystem integration, risk assessment, planning, verification and validation.
• Design, develop, and release custom test equipment (HW and SW).
• Coordinate with Operations for production STE/ATE requirements, automation, and UI.
• Develop custom test equipment procedures and instructions.
• Manage upgrades to STE for obsolescence / enhancements.
• Maintain library of preferred test equipment / components and standards.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
