Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, computer, software, or systems engineering.
• 9+ years of relevant experience; or 7+ years with master's and 13+ years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the system design of integrated communications solutions using L3Harris products, third-party equipment, and custom mounting or peripheral hardware.
• Design and integrate communications systems for vehicles, shelters, transit cases, and fixed-site installations.
• Own systems engineering work from kickoff through design, including family tree diagrams, interconnect diagrams, VCRM, BOM creation and management, and prototypes.
• Map out system architectures and technical approaches that meet customer requirements with proposed solutions.
• Evaluate technical solutions and resolve issues across programs.
• Manage parallel priorities across multiple programs and keep deliverables moving in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Sales, Program Management, Trade Compliance, and Operations to stay on schedule.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including customers and stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% annually, often around 10% with international trips of up to two weeks.
