Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Lead Systems Engineer to act as the strategic technical leader across a six–Task Order software development portfolio. You will drive AI integration, modernization, and transitions of legacy work to new platforms, while ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.

You will champion DevSecOps practices, establish measurable frameworks, and collaborate with PMO leadership to align engineering decisions with mission outcomes.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
• Experience leading modernization and large-scale technical transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic technical changes across six Task Orders and an IDIQ portfolio.
• Guide AI insertion, modernization, and transition of legacy work to new platforms.
• Develop frameworks for CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing, and observability.
• Collaborate with PMO, Solution Architects, and Senior Stakeholders on architecture and outcomes.
