Everforth Apex is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead a 17-server transit environment and associated SQL databases in a demanding IT role. You will configure, maintain, and optimize Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server services while supporting a hybrid Office 365 Exchange environment and cloud directory replication.

The ideal candidate brings five years of relevant experience, strong AD/Group Policy skills, and a proactive approach to system reliability and automation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience can substitute.
• Five years of professional systems administration or network support experience.
• Advanced skills in AD tools, Group Policy, Windows Server, VMware, NetApp, remote connectivity, and Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Manage and maintain 17 critical transit servers and associated SQL databases, ensuring uptime.
• Modify and triage server settings, push updates and modifications as required.
• Repair, install, and tune deployments for application software packages.
• Run and diagnose vendor SQL scripts against databases to maintain operations.
• Review logs to detect, diagnose, and resolve system problems.
• Design, implement, and manage AD and GPOs in a mixed Windows environment.
• Provide administration and support for a hybrid Office 365 Exchange environment and directory replication to cloud assets.
• Diagnose and resolve bus connectivity issues, install Seon bus cameras, and share content with transit partners.
• Collaborate with vendors on tuning, troubleshooting, fixes, and triage.
• Document operational processes in the knowledge management system.
