Peraton in New Jersey seeks a Lead System Integrator to unite software components into a single containerized deliverable for government‑funded research programs. You will maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage monthly code drops, and coordinate self‑test submissions with the T&E team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or higher in CS/EE, 5+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in systems integration or technical leadership on government programs, and strong Python/C++ skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/EE or related field
• 5+ years software engineering with 3+ years in systems integration or tech lead on government-funded research programs
• Strong Python and C/C++ proficiency
• Experience with Docker containerization and hardware passthrough for deployment
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with REST API design for interoperability
• Experience coordinating software deliverables across multiple organizations
• Clear technical documentation including design docs, manuals, API specs, and tests
• US Citizenship

• Own end-to-end integration of software components into a single containerized deliverable
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for container builds, tests, and packaging
• Enforce software coding best practices across team members and subcontractors
• Serve as the interface to the Program Manager and T&E team for software delivery and troubleshooting
