Job summary

Peraton Labs is seeking a hands-on Software Integration Engineer to build, test, package, and maintain containerized software deliverables for programs with T&E components. The role includes implementing CI/CD pipelines, building and debugging Docker containers, writing integration tests, and preparing code drops for leaderboard scoring.

The candidate will work across the stack from C++ to Python, container orchestration, and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Bachelor's, 3+ with Master's, or PhD in a technical field
• Experience with C/C++ and Python
• Hands‑on Docker containerization incl. Dockerfiles and multi‑stage builds
• CI/CD pipelines experience (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
• Familiarity with Linux development environments and build tools (CMake, Make)
• Experience writing integration/regression tests for multi‑component systems
• Git version control proficiency and multi‑contributor workflows
• REST API concepts and basic API testing/implementation
• Strong technical documentation skills; build instructions and release notes
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Docker containers for delivery to T&E testbeds
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline stages with automated builds and tests
• Prepare monthly/quarterly code drop packages with working containers and docs
• Run self-test leaderboard experiments, validate outputs, report results
• Write integration tests to verify multi-team interoperability
• Enforce coding standards for subcontractor contributions
• Manage dependency resolution and reproducible builds
• Prepare integration demos and technical materials for design reviews
• Maintain internal docs including build procedures and troubleshooting guides
