Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking an experienced leader to manage day-to-day activities of direct reports in Syndicated Servicing, with a track record of guiding teams and grooming future managers.

In this role you will ensure loan boarding and maintenance compliance with bank, regulatory and investor guidelines, while delivering world-class service and coaching to your team. Occasional evenings, weekends, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Minimum four years of experience in Loan Operations/Loan Processing/Loan Administration.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of Retail loan documentation requirements.
• Intermediate knowledge of federal and state banking regulations.
• Experience performing quality assurance reviews of loan operations functions.
• Ability to coach and motivate employees to improve performance and morale.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• All duties and responsibilities for Loan Servicing Specialist II
• Ensure own work and teammates follow applicable laws, regulations and guidelines
• Boarding and maintenance of loans per bank, regulatory and investor guidelines
• Perform quality assurance reviews on loan boarding and maintenance
• Participate in hiring and training decisions
• Manage training needs and update procedures manuals
• Prepare performance and quality metrics reports for management
• Approve timecards and leave requests for direct reports
• Assist with pre- and post-conversion activities
• Create and update Policies and Procedures for new and existing processes
• Provide coaching and disciplinary actions as needed under Manager guidance
• Deliver world-class service to internal and external clients with urgency and positivity
• Balance priorities and adhere to policies
• Adhere to corporate and loan operations procedures
