Job summary

Employbridge seeks a Switchgear Electrical Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and execution of LV and MV switchgear systems for commercial, industrial, and utility projects. You will translate customer requirements into compliant solutions and guide designs from concept through manufacturing.

As a technical leader, you’ll review drawings, BOMs, and diagrams, mentor teams, and ensure code compliance and product quality. Strong collaboration with manufacturing and field teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, power distribution, switchgear, or related electrical systems.
• 3 to 5 years of experience creating, reviewing, and approving electrical drawings and engineering documentation.
• 3 to 5 years of experience with LV/MV electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical design principles and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review LV/MV switchgear systems and related panels.
• Analyze drawings and specs to develop compliant engineering solutions.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
• Lead technical reviews, inspections, and project support activities.
• Provide engineering guidance to Manufacturing, Drafting, Quality, and Purchasing.
