Cache Valley Electric is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to support substation and transmission projects. You will perform field surveys, establish project control, execute construction staking, collect topo and as-built data, and provide accurate survey information to field and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has experience with utility, transmission, substation, or large-scale infrastructure projects and is comfortable working independently in

Formación

• Experience on transmission line or substation construction projects.
• Experience with utility ROW, easement, and boundary surveying.
• Familiarity with State Plane Coordinate Systems and project coordinates.
• PLS license or LSIT certification is a plus but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain horizontal/vertical survey control.
• Perform surveys of substation sites, transmission corridors, and access roads.
• Conduct construction staking for foundations, pads, fences, and structures.
• Survey transmission line centerlines, structure locations, and alignment features.
• Collect topo data and verify field data for CAD/GIS outputs.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Complete as-built surveys and ensure conformance with drawings and tolerances.
• Maintain organized survey records and project data.
