Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
• Experience: 10 years in heavy civil and highway infrastructure projects.
• Licenses: Land Surveying License preferred.
• Technical: Proficiency in Civil 3D, Bentley, as well as knowledge of heavy civil construction sequences.
• Equipment: Hands-on with Trimble systems, GPS RTK, total stations, levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage survey teams across one or more projects.
• Plan and supervise topographic surveys, layout staking, as-built surveys, and control networks.
• Review design drawings and specs to ensure accurate field implementation.
• Establish project control points and survey networks.
• Oversee field operations, safety, and productivity.
• Operate survey equipment and ensure calibration.
• Coordinate with construction managers and design teams to resolve discrepancies.
