Job summary

S&B USA Construction undertakes complex infrastructure projects in the Mid-Atlantic, requiring strong field leadership in surveying. This role provides technical and administrative direction for layout personnel, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project schedules.

Report to the Chief of Surveying on surveying activities and QA/QC. The ideal candidate will be licensed or pursuing licensure with 1–3 years of heavy highway field experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, C3D, or

Qualifications

• Licensed or working toward licensure with 1–3 years of field experience in heavy highway construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Survey and Layout Activities.
• Coordinate and schedule work with Project Directors, PMs, Engineers, Superintendents andEstimating.
• Maintain proficiency in GPS/Survey equipment, software and methodology.
• Maintain, track, inventory, manage and coordinate use of survey and machine control equipment.
• Perform QA/QC reviews for 3D modeling and grading.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
