Qualifications

• Engineering/Technical degree or 9-12 years of survey experience in heavy construction/industrial settings.
• 5-8 years of field/office surveying experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with modern survey instruments and software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Lead Surveyor with oversight of survey operations.
• Perform duties of the Project Lead Surveyor in their absence.
• Support safety, quality, and environmental programs for the survey team.
• Ensure accurate layout and recordation of field data per specs.
• Provide survey CAD drawings, DTMs, and volume computations.
• Maintain and verify the survey control network.
• Develop and manage survey data and calibration baseline checks.
• Support UAV, 3D scanning, and machine control initiatives.
