Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field surveying activities in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

The role focuses on boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys, using robotic total stations and GPS/GNSS tools to deliver accurate data and robust project documentation. You will manage field operations, ensure safety, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with project teams across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey crew chief experience.
• Ability to train and mentor survey technicians and field crew.
• Knowledge of land surveying principles and standards.
• Familiarity with civil engineering principles and construction specs.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee daily survey field operations while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, route, photo control, and construction stakeout surveys.
• Operate robotic total stations and GPS/GNSS receivers and data collectors.
• Collect and verify field data; maintain field notes and survey records.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to support project objectives.
• Provide training and guidance to field staff.
