Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years as a Party Crew Chief and an A.S. in surveying (LSIT/RLS a plus); duties include reading construction plans, performing coordinate geometry, and operating total stations and GPS. Position requires lifting 50 lbs, standing 8–10 hours, and travel (2–3 days every 3 months).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as a Party Crew Chief with AS in surveying or seven years' equivalent.
• Experience in construction, topographical, boundary, and aerial control surveys.
• Able to perform coordinate geometry calculations and direct others.
• Familiar with survey equipment incl. total stations and GPS; Trimble Access a plus.
• Must read construction plans and lift 50 lbs; stand 8–10 hours daily.
• Reliable, team‑oriented, and able to work with clients and contractors.
• Good driving record; occasional out‑of‑town travel.
