Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year survey training plus 1 year experience preferred; entry point for reliability and willingness to learn.
• No prior surveying experience required for entry-level candidates who are reliable and motivated to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Chief with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, right-of-way, utility, as-built, and construction-staking surveys.
• Set up and operate modern survey equipment accurately.
• Read plans and perform basic calculations involving distances and elevations.
• Document field measurements, photos, and notes for site conditions.
• Maintain survey equipment and safety procedures on site.
• Communicate effectively with crew, contractors, and engineers.
