Job summary

OHM Advisors seeks a Survey Crew Chief to lead the survey team in Cleveland, OH. You will collaborate with Professional Surveyors to define plans, schedules and budgets, supervise crew performances, and ensure accurate field data and QA/QC compliance.

The role requires 5 years of land surveying experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation, and GEOPAK. Occasional fieldwork alongside office duties is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of land surveying experience.
• Experience with all types of surveying equipment and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong math能力 incl. trig/geometry.
• Familiarity with DOT surveying standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Professional Surveyors to set project plans, timelines, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
• Direct Survey Crew members; oversee work, check calculations and notes.
• Convey project requirements to the Survey Crew.
• Maintain safe work environments per health and safety plans.
• Provide technical expertise in topographic, construction, and boundary surveying.
