Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead the survey team in field and office settings. The role involves coordinating with Professional Surveyors, assigning tasks, and ensuring accuracy and safety across topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.

The position requires extensive surveying experience, strong math skills, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, MicroStation, and GEOPAK. A valid driver's license is mandatory, with physical tasks and field travel expected.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience.
• Experience with multiple surveying instruments and procedures.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Work with Professional Surveyors to plan objectives, timeframes, budgets, staffing, and schedules.
• Direct Survey Crew members and oversee all field and data activities.
• Ensure fieldwork complies with safety plans and QA/QC standards.
• Perform topographic, construction, and boundary surveying tasks.
• Prepare easement and right-of-way descriptions and associated drawings.
