Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with two years of related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships across all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; flexible teamwork.
  • Must meet university auto insurance requirements and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Basic understanding of safety precautions and equipment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with surplus management, including collection, transportation, and delivery of surplus goods.
  • Oversee daily staff operations and provide mentorship as a subject matter expert.
  • Assist with moving furniture/equipment for faculty and staff changes and room resets in residence halls.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and storage of supplies for indoor and outdoor events on campus.
  • Operate material-handling equipment and various vehicles; supervise open surplus hours.
  • Update work orders with hours and notes, and maintain clean, safe workspaces.
