Job summary

Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking a Lead Surgical Technologist to assume a vital leadership role in the OR, guiding a skilled team and ensuring patients receive the safest, most advanced surgical care.

Working with a highly experienced team, you will scrub in, support surgeons through complex cardiac procedures, mentor junior technologists, and uphold infection prevention standards while maintaining a sterile environment.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 7 days of start date.
• Associate Degree required.
• No Travel Required.

Responsibilities

• Leading surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments to ensure readiness for every procedure.
• Scrubbing in and supporting surgeons through complex cardiac surgeries, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, sterile environment.
• Guiding and mentoring surgical technologists, training new team members and reinforcing best practices.
