Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of operating room experience and six months of experience at ANMC as a surgical technologist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical surgical assistance and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with OR team to manage supplies and instrument availability.
• Direct day-to-day activities of support staff and communicate with pre/post-op teams.
• Maintain sterile field and assist with instrument preparation and counts per OR procedures.
• Participate in onboarding and education for new staff and ensure compliance with policies.
