GE Aerospace is seeking a Supportability Engineering lead in the United States to guide a team that analyzes and improves engine supportability, interfacing with Engineering IPTs and Logistics to minimize life cycle costs. You will define objectives, participate in design reviews, and drive maintenance analysis from the plant to customers.

The role emphasizes strong communication, project leadership, and experience with logistics and DoD-like analysis.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a field closely related to supportability engineering (e.g., product support, logistics, reliability, systems engineering).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems; project management capability.

Mansioni

• Lead a team of engineers performing supportability, maintainability, and related work.
• Manage schedule, budget, and performance for the Supportability team.
• Determine Supportability Objectives to identify constraints and areas for improvement.
• Participate in technical meetings and design reviews as the Supportability expert.
• Collaborate with design teams to refine engine design for lower life cycle costs.
• Lead Maintenance Task Analysis creation and updates to customers.
• Ensure Safety Database mitigations are reflected in Maintenance Task Analysis.
• Define and execute Logistics Control Number processes.
• Evaluate COTs software (SlicWave, Eagle) for future needs.
